Road Runner High-Speed Online was the name given to an internet service, launched in 1995, which was offered by Time Warner Cable. It took its name from the Warner Bros. cartoons featuring Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, was especially popular in the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s, and included the Roadrunner Email service.
In 2012, the Roadrunner brand name was replaced by the Time Warner Cable (TWC) name, with the Roadrunner email becoming TWC Email. Then, in 2016, TWC was acquired by Charter Communications and re-branded again, to Spectrum Internet.
